How to Develop a Strong Immune System

The immune system is the body's defense mechanism against everything from bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites, etc. The system is an interactive combination of several ways in which the body recognizes foreign cells, tissues and organisms and fights against them. The system of the body is its own network of silent intelligence and a private army that identifies harmful organisms and destroys them throughout their lives.

The immune system can be of two types: innate or acquired. All living things are created with an autoimmune system or innate immune system. However, while some people are born with a strong immunity, others have to develop it. This is acquired or adaptive immunity. If you need to gain better immunity, the following practices can strengthen and reinforce you.

1. Good Diet
All issues related to our body begin with a healthy nutrition, achieved through a well-balanced diet. Including some foods part of your basic diet can work wonders on your immune system. Citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, mandarins, grapefruit); berries, particularly strawberries, blueberries and raspberries; papaya and kiwi are very potent immunity boosters.

Certain vegetables have ingredients that can greatly boost the potency of your system, such as carrots, spinach, broccoli, sweet potatoes, red peppers and onions. Even the common seasonings like saffron, garlic and ginger have medicinal properties that can enhance a weak immune system. Yogurt, almonds, flaxseed and mushrooms are some other foods, which can greatly boost your immunity.

2. Sleep
Proper rest and deep sleep can work miracles in your mind and body. It is well known that fatigue, stress and anxiety have a negative impact on health. Intense stress and fatigue trigger a hormonal imbalance that can wreak havoc on the body with long-term consequences for immunity and for diseases that may be exposed.

Stress can even lead to sleep loss, making it a vicious cycle, which can be catastrophic. Learn to relax before bed and make sure you get a good rest every night.

3. Reduce stress
Exercise and physical activities are good for relieving tension and contribute greatly to building a better immunity system. Physical exertion reduces the level of stress in the body as well as meditation. In addition to keeping you mentally healthy, it also increases the body's resistance to various bacteria, viral diseases and infections. Having a positive attitude lowers worry and keeps stress at bay. Spend time with family and friends and feel happy.

4. Life habits
Smoking and consuming alcohol are bad news for the body, but they can also be particularly damaging to the immune system. What's more, the dangerous agents present in this type of product can actually weaken a strong immune system. So try to quit smoking and reduce alcoholic beverages to strengthen your body with a strong immune system.

There are a thousand ways to make your immune system strong and unwavering, but here we only mention some of the ones we think are the most important. Contact us and learn how to stay strong and healthy!
