THE IMPORTANCE OF OUR SPINE

Increasingly, there are countless types of pathologies that come from bad postural habits and carrying out daily activities. As such, prevention is very important to prevent your spine from feeling pain or any kind of discomfort. Personal Trainers shows you how to protect your spine in the following situations:

               • Working seated: check the chair adjustment (backrest, base, height); it must be aligned with the axis of the chair; strictly respect a break every hour from work, and stretch and relax in the most tense region.

               • Sleeping: on your side or on your back;

               • Open drawers: try to support the furniture with one hand and open the drawer with the other hand;

               • When sweeping: do not lean your body forward, but increase the length of the cable;

               • Divide the weight on both sides of the body: carry a weight on each side, keeping your arms straight and very close to your body.

               Regarding the exercises that you can perform in order to strengthen the entire structure of your spine, opt for isometric exercises such as the various types of board, which are excellent for good stabilization, preventing any type of injury.
