IS TRAINING EFFECTIVE WHEN YOU FEEL PAIN?

Measuring the success of a workout by muscle soreness is one of the great myths in the fitness universe.

Muscle soreness happens as a result of extreme muscle strain. While they are normal when you first start exercising, they are not synonymous with better results. As the workouts become regular, the pains should start to become less and less, because the body itself gets used to the activity being practiced. Otherwise, it may be a sign that something is not right and that you should see a doctor in order to prevent muscle injuries or future joint problems. Workouts should be well structured in order to ensure a higher quality of life and faster results.

The expression "no pain, no gain" cannot be taken literally!
